Lizard pose

After years of teaching high impact aerobics, being a distance runner, and birthing three babies, my hips feel like they’ve taken quite the beating.  


In my yoga classes I take extra time to concentrate on hip opener poses because I know the feeling all too well—very tight, achy and tender hips, which can later impact the lower back as well as your buttocks and hamstrings. 

Practice these hip openers daily before working out.
