PERSIMMON & POMEGRANATE PROTEIN SHAKE

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz of vanilla unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 small banana 

  • 1/2 cup of ice 

  • 1/2 of a fresh ripe persimmon (save the other half for a snack)

  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I use Vega Sport Protein Powder)

 

Shake "sprinkles":

  • 2 tbsp of frozen pomegranate seeds

  • 1 tsp of white chia seeds

  • a little drizzle of Abma's Farm local honey 

  • A few pecans

 

Combine all the above ingredients — except for the "sprinkles" in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour immediately into a large glass and top it with "sprinkles."
