SPRING SKIN CHALLENGE
The first step in a flawless makeup application is a perfect canvas. Our skin is precious and we need to take care of it! But there's one pretty obvious step that a lot of us leave out... and I want to challenge you to add it to your beauty regimen this spring.
That's right, water.
It seems self explanatory, but most of us don't drink enough water each day. That does some serious damage to our skin, leaving it looking dull and dry. So let's try to change that, shall we?
Tips and Tricks
(Remember, we're dividing our body weight by two and taking in that many ounces!
Example: I'm 155 pounds, so I'll be drinking about 78 ounces of water per day).
1. Get a reusable water bottle to reduce waste and save money.
2. Infuse your water with your favorite fruits. Lemon and cucumber is great, and I'll occasionally use berries, too.
3. Download an app to help you track your intake. I use Plant Nanny!
I left out a huge rule in the video: do not stop moisturizing!
This challenge is meant to improve your skin from the inside out, but we still have to take care of it from the outside in. Keep cleansing and moisturizing morning and night.
