This classic Income Tax Cocktail is sure to please, even though it's a bit of a stinger.

 

1 ½ ounces gin

3/4 ounce dry vermouth

3/4 ounce sweet vermouth

3/4 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice from 1 orange

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Orange slice for garnish

 

Combine gin, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, orange juice and bitters into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake until well chilled and strain into a glass. Garnish with orange slice.
